A fair-use monthly limit applies. If you reach it, new dictation pauses until your allowance refreshes, and blabe shows the date in its settings. It refreshes every month on the day you subscribed, including on the yearly plan. What you’ve already dictated isn’t affected.

Questions

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Cancel in your Polar customer portal, and blabe keeps working until the end of the period you paid for. After that, new dictation stops until you subscribe again. What you’ve already dictated isn’t affected.

Can I get a refund?

No. Try blabe free for 2 days before you subscribe, and cancel anytime to stop the next renewal. Refunds are given only where the law requires them.

How many Macs can I use?

Up to 3 with one subscription. To move blabe to another Mac, sign out in Settings → Account on the old one and sign in on the new one. If all 3 Macs are in use, free one in your Polar customer portal first.

Can I switch between monthly and yearly?

Yes, in your Polar customer portal. Switching to yearly is charged right away, minus what’s left of your month.

What happens if my Mac is offline?

blabe needs the internet to transcribe. Offline, the pill says No internet, and nothing new is transcribed until you reconnect.

Do I need an account with a transcription provider?

No. Transcription is included, so there’s nothing to set up and no API key. You activate blabe with the license key from your purchase.

Which payment methods work?

Cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay, through Polar. PayPal isn’t available.

Is there a student or team discount?

Not yet.
